Wheel Of Life Exercise
The interactive Wheel of Life is an excellent introduction to one of the tools of coaching. It takes you on a journey of self-discovery, starting by defining the here and now of your life.
The standard Wheel of Life is a good place to begin as it covers the eight main components that make up most of our lives. Completing the exercise is very simple:
- Click on the image of the wheel located above right.
- Select 'Wheel of Life' from the pull down menu.
- Follow the instructions through to the end.
When you have completed the exercise and pressed 'Plot' you will get a graphical representation of your life today. You then have a number options:
- Print a copy of your wheel to work on later or share with family/friends.
- Go on and complete one or more of the targeted wheels, which are relevant to you. These are Mind, Body and Spirit; Career Development; Confidence; De-stress; Relationships; Retirement; Carers or Hierarchy of Needs.
- Select 'custom' to create your own wheel around an aspect of your life which you know needs attention.
